DISCOVER THE NEW SPRING ART CURRICULUM – STARTING SEPTEMBER 3rd 2026
Guildford Thursday Afternoons – 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Step into a creative space where your artistic skills can flourish. This brand-new curriculum is designed for anyone wishing to develop their drawing and painting in a friendly, supportive environment. Each week brings fresh inspiration, exploring a variety of mediums including pencil, oil pastel, acrylic, and watercolour, with projects ranging from a surrealist charcoal drawing exploring Impossible Bottles to a dramatic Elephant painting in watercolour, using clingfilm to create the texture of the skin!
Every class begins with a live demonstration, allowing you to see techniques in action, ask questions, and understand the approach I use to create each piece. With three hours to work on your artwork, you will have plenty of time to start your project while receiving personal guidance and feedback tailored to your skill level. Suitable for both beginners and improvers, the course offers a challenge while ensuring support at every stage.
If you’ve ever been frustrated by art classes with little guidance or a “turn up and paint” approach, Art Intense is different. You will receive the full curriculum, detailed project instructions, reference materials, step-by-step photographs, and recorded demonstration videos to revisit whenever you need. All resources are available digitally so you can prepare for class or continue your work at home.
To keep the creative energy flowing, there is also an optional Art Intense WhatsApp group, where you can share your progress, see other students’ work, and stay inspired between classes.
Art Intense isn’t just about making art – it’s about enjoying the process, learning new skills, and sharing ideas with others who love being creative. Start the new year off with a new hobby and join a friendly group of like-minded people who want to have fun, relax, and see their artwork improve week by week.
